NovaKey - Keyboard

★★★★★ This is a great keyboard, although the backspace and space are sometimes unresponsive, or you have to swipe from one side of the screen to the other for it to activate

★★★★★ I've only been using Nova Key for 2 days and for sure it's going to stay my default keyboard. It's been fun figuring out the quirks, features and shortfalls. I would rate 5 stars, but I use emoji a lot and there doesn't seem to be an emoji option. ----- Suggestions for developer: 1.) I use emoji a lot, and it's annoying having to switch to other keyboards for them. I'm sure implementing emoji with the pentathlete could be made to work smoothly and better than other systems, but in the meantime the typical drawer would work fine. 2.) The 2-finger resize causes the keyboard to crash, not that it's needed. 3.) The space bar does not appear, not that it's needed. 4.) The numerical powers are inconsistent (¹²³⁴⁵⁶⁷⁸⁹⁹⁰), yes it is rare to have a power greater than 3, but they all should be listed. This annoys me with other keyboards as well... 5.) An additional color for the space outside the control area would be nice. ----- Hints for users: 1.) Don't swipe from the characters, the center of each zone is the hitbox. 2.) Holding after a delete-swipe lets you delete more by swiping anti-clockwise, it'll remember what was there as long as you continue holding, swiping clockwise will restore what was there at the start of the swipe. 3.) Swiping clockwise or anti-clockwise outside the center moves the cursor. Each position is advanced as the swipe moves to the next hitbox. 3a.) In cursor mode: passing over the center turns the cursor into a selector, the selection can be expanded in either direction. 3b.) Once a selection box is established passing over the center again will switch which end of the selection box is active. 3c.) Expanding a selection box beyond the available text removes the selection and goes back to cursor (I find this annoying but understandable). 3d.) Once the selection is satisfactory, holding the center brings up the copy-paste items. The boxes on lower left and right are select all and select none respectively. 4.) In the theme and colors menu, swiping from a color brings up brightness variants of that hue. 5.) In the theme menu, the 3D option adds shadows between the characters and the elaborate backgrounds, checking 3D with the 1st and 2nd backgrounds doesn't do anything.

★★☆☆☆ Impossible to use. I can't even press H or U, and several other letters, because they type DIFFERENT letters! There's no use for this app except for having some 'unique' keyboard. So many typos.

★★☆☆☆ This keyboard is horrible. No tutorial on how to use it, spend more time correcting typos and switching to another keyboard just to delete typos and hit send/go/search.

★★☆☆☆ Just QWERTY in disguise. I thought this would be an innovative layout designed to be ergonomic and fast, like Messages, but unfortunately the letters have been arranged like the QWERTY layout around a pentagon. Please offer a layout with the letters placed in locations that optimize travel time and make typing quicker.
