I love using the app but would be great if we could edit our own maps and create our own trails that aren't marked on the app

If your review is complaining about the $5 subscription, sorry, but you're wrong. Trail maps have always been $5, and you're getting the whole state at that price. The app has been improved tremendously over the last couple of years. Easy to use if you take 2 seconds to think about what you click. Only feature I'd like to see is for routes to take closed trails into account. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5.

It keeps kicking me out and saying I'm back to basic after signing up and paying for the subscription. Did that and it'll be 5 stars

This looks really promising, but it's useless without the subscription. I'm sure it's worth the $5 a year, but I find it unconscionable that they don't at least put your position on the map. That could get someone in trouble.
