★★★★★ Seems to have been updated and now is quite functional. It's automatically saving the points, and then you can choose to redeem them against purchases after the fact. Was skeptical after the bad reviews. But am quite happy 1 month in.

This would be a useful feature, so you could see how much over a specific period you have been rewarded. The point history is also limited. Currently, I can only see two entries. Ideally, this should be retain all over period of time. With monthly views, similar to a bank statement. The app also keeps crashing!
