Perfect Viewer

★★★★★ I've been finding an app like this, so I can read my favorite manga offline. Thank you so much, I guess it is truly "perfect" (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

★★★★★ Comical no longer works on my tablet since upgrading to Android version 11, and they took away the privileges Comical had to read from my SD card. I am still pissed at them for that... "hey, let's take away some of the usability our customers have grown accustom to...", at any rate... Perfect Viewer looks a lot like Comical in many ways. If you are looking for a replacement for Comical, this is the one to get. In a week or so, if I have no issues with it, I will be paying for the Pro version.

★★★★★ Incredibly good, but I've accidentally deleted a comic twice due to the "swipe to delete" option, which is on by default. I'm not downloading a cbz/cbr reader as a file manager, anyway, so I'd rather the function to delete not be there.

★★☆☆☆ Went down from 5 stars to 1 because AVIF files are not supported. Will go back to 5 after AVIF support will be added.

★★☆☆☆ Please make it, so you can toggle off the ability to read zip files or certain folders, it's very annoying, I don't want zip files or certain folders being read

★★☆☆☆ Overwhelmed with nonsensical icons, nothing to indicate how to navigate, and simply trying to scroll a page ends up... somewhere else because there's no distinction between pages. You can scroll down, scroll right, zoom, and you will definitely end up on another page - or another book - with no sign of how to get back to what you were trying to read. And the only direction you get is "you can't do that now because magnifier" or something. I have no idea how I opened a comic in the first place.

★★☆☆☆ Just wipes cbz files every time. I have loaded several hundred files in on several occasions only to find that I tried to open them and PV announced that the files don't exist. On returning to the files they no longer function. This is especially bad for cbz files. Having wiped them and reinstalled them only to have it happen again I eventually gave up. Now I download as I read and find the files corrupted and useless every time I return to them. I have contacted the developer but no reply 😕.
