★★★★★ I've owned this app for a number of years. It's extremely useful in identifying the surrounding birds. It's quite amusing playing a bird call to the appropriate species and watching their reaction. I had a minor problem recently transferring the app from one phone to another, but I got onto the app producer who gave me instructions for a straightforward fix. Reply and fix all within a couple of hours. Excellent app and backup support.

★★★★★ I think this is the best birding app for Australian Birds. I had liked the original Pizza & Knight printed field guide, which I thought had the best text and pretty good illustrations. The calls in the app are obviously really useful, but in addition I like that it has photos as well. However, the app recently had a serious glitch where it wouldn't load. Surprisingly, this was fixed really promptly by an inquiry through the Gibbon Multimedia website. A big thanks to Guy for his assistance.

★★☆☆☆ Love the app (my friend has it and I have seen it) however I don't understand why you need access to my contacts, and I am not comfortable giving that. Sadly I will look for another app. I did register my name, address and email and gave permission for my location and phone storage, but the app will not work without me allowing permission to access my contacts.

★★☆☆☆ I am really disappointed in the android version of this app. The apple version is good and is really worth getting if you have an Apple device. This version is more complicated and is hard to navigate with speed. I don't like that the bird list pictures are really low quality. I also don't like that the bird lists cannot be sorted taxonomic. It also needs to be updated especially the range maps. The last straw was when I couldn't access my list. This price is not okay for this app.

★★☆☆☆ Love this app but latest March 2022 Android update seems to have stuffed the GPS connection in the app. Bird List not loading. Can't find my location. Please fix asap :-)
