The app is quite basic, it operates various functions to do with the car (HVAC/preconditioning, charge limit, recharging rate). Unfortunately I can't get my phone to work as a key and the app failed to work properly a few days ago, from what I would've thought were remote server issues with Polestar or their suppliers. It works quite well for the majority of the time.

Using this on a Pixel 6. I was showing the app to a friend and set the charge limit to 40%, then back to 90% (which the app confimed). The next charge only went to 40% and when I checked in the car it was showing the limit was 40%. As a result I was late to an important appointment. Also, digital key keeps failing, and you have to turn Bluetooth off and on.

Struggles to connect and find location, lots of errors, very limited changes and improvements, very limited functionality, struggles to lock and unlock the car, logs you out sometimes too

Since the last update (Sep 2024) schedules don't work, so I can't schedule charging or heating... On the upside, I can see when a service is due! Good tradeoff? I don't think so. It's also very slow to refresh, sometimes failing. I have to go outside to see if it's charged. The app already had few functions, it's now going backwards. WHERE ARE THE DEVS? Why is there no comment from Polestar? Anyone who thinks this is a good app clearly has never seen a decent car app.
