★★★★★ Simple, low cost sailing race tracker I have been a long time user and fan of Predict Wind and have been using Tracker for the last few months. Originally it was a great app for tracking fleets and individual boats in middle and longer course racing. The recent upgrades has made it possible to track fleets over short courses like windward leewards. You can watch a race in real time or review after, checking out where you got it right and wrong. Whether you use this app for safety, performance review or letting friends and family track progress I recommend you load it up, follow the tips for managing battery and give it a try. All yacht clubs should support and load it up for members.
★★★★★ Great for Club Racing! Easy to set up and install, it found my position quickly and also displayed it on the club website. My mates can keep track of my progress around the racecourse and get down to the pontoon with the beers for when we arrive back at the dock!
★★☆☆☆ Have used app several years as is mandatory for several races. Issues with app have never improved. Thought it was my phone, but have a brand-new phone, and it still the app does not work. Talking to others they have the same issues. Poor reception issues are understandable, but this app is just not good.
★★☆☆☆ Waste of time I got directed to this app when wanted to use GPS on main app. But couldn't even use this. I need to be in race or what ever it says?? WTH. One GPS tracking feature and It's so hard to execute.
