★★★★★ A good all in one octoprint monitoring / control app. Definitely worth paying for as has some worthwhile features I haven't seen in similar apps. I particularly find the alternative / IP option useful. Developer works hard to resolve issues and looks great.
★★★★★ 2024 update: Printed premium is still my OctoPrint app of choice: integrates with a number of plugins like PSU Control to give menu options, and other niceties. However, it hasn't been updated for a while and is lacking some features like support for showing the temperature of multiple extruders (like on a Prusa XL) - or even the current extruder, and the GCODE preview is still out of sync with OctoPrint. Nonetheless, still good, still 5 stars, and I don't regret buying it.
★★★★★ I really like the app. I haven't gone through the VPN setup to control the printer from outside my Wi-Fi network, but I use the app often when I'm not at the printer. I use the webcam to check on the print. I can check on prints from outside when I'm doing yard work or in the garage. It's really handy and convenient. Plus you just feel like a boss. UPDATE 2021: I'm still using it and I still love it. It's easy and it works. That's a beautiful thing. I can't say enough good things about it.
★★☆☆☆ Easy to set up and get running. However even on my home network the app crashes everything I go to open it. This is the case on both my phone and tablet. I'm not certain it isn't something I have set wrong in the settings, but it would appear to be non-functional for me at the moment. I have sent crash data logs from both devices and would appreciate any help from the developer in resolving the issue.
★★☆☆☆ Really nice but Wear OS app for watches doesn't open. I initially gave it about 3 stars because sometimes it doesn't load property or has to be opened twice (which I don't mind that much) but reduced it to 2 because I contacted the developer twice layout the wear app not working and twice I got no reply...
★★☆☆☆ This app hasn't worked right for a long time. It can't see any files on the Octoprint server. Has the app been abandoned?
★★☆☆☆ Great app when it works. Keeps crashing when trying to anything in the menu and sometimes just autoclosed after opening.
★★☆☆☆ I've been using this app for a while and paid for the premium app version. Now because they decided they wanted to do a subscription service I can't even use the thing I paid for to control the 3D printer I paid for.
