The app and device had a lot of problems when I first got them (the phone lost the connection with the device and the device lost the connection with the camera). After a couple of firmware and app updates both now work reliably and as expected. There is however one problem that I have noticed recently (but haven't had time to report) and that is that the exposure ramping fails if one reconnects to the device after first disconnecting the phone (by moving far enough away). It also seems to be connected to setting a delay on starting the timelapse. Will report it once I have had time to investigate a bit more.

Like virtually everyone else here says, the app is trash, the firmware is trash, the Alpine Labs team aren't updating the app to work with new phones. They don't do updates any more, bugs aren't fixed. If you're lucky enough to connect at all, you'll likely constantly get disconnected, or the thumbnail feature won't work, or it will tell you that the device is connected, but it isn't connected to a camera. And yet, they still sell the product from their website. Scam.

Got the pulse for my camera (the support guy said it would work), and it does not. Complete ripoff and a waste of money. Do not buy or use 0/10 would not recommend

Not working with Nikon D5100 I'll be happy to change my review when the Pulse will work with my camera. Hope next update will arrive soon!
