Installed this app on my Samsung Galaxy S8, Seems like it may be a handy app to have. The one thing that bothers me at the moment is that I can't get the app to shut down, I have to go into the "close all" to get it to stop. I still have the older version installed, will hang onto it. 4 * for now, review my score when I am happy it is working the way the programmer wanted. Just installed on my Samsung Tab A (SM-T510) 2019, and have the same issue.

The new app looks pretty good. It would be helpful if the species database showed whether a species lives in fresh or saltwater. Some descriptions give you a clue, but it would be better if it was a high level filterable field on a species

This is a great app. However, it needs to have an "offline mode" for when not around data reception to still access fish search for size and bag limits. Also, "can I fish here".
★★☆☆☆
No marine park zoning marked for great sandy straight marine park. Y? I don't know. Use this app at your own risk. Map is also painful to use as the pop-up window will comes up every time you touch the screen to move the cursor/pin. Also, incorrect information for some areas, some areas are marked as no take zones which is incorrect. This app has been released without review and before it's time.
★★☆☆☆
Can't find half of the fish on the app, very confusing to use. I will be trying to figure out what I've caught, but I've had to throw it back because I can't find it or taking too long to find if legal size. I also highly suggest having the ability to have multiple names searchable for different types of fish and use the common names. App has become useless apart for seasonal information. Zone map, species lookup and photo recognition are broken. App has potential but just lacking.
