We sometimes visit a dark park, a protected area up in remote hills, where all municipalities in the vicinity have agreed to minimize light pollution, so that astronomers can use telescopes and cameras. Only dim red light is allowed for visitors to navigate the pathways after dark, and this app comes in very useful, or you can use a flashlight covered with red celluloid.

Does show red screen but can use the phone screen with it on. I hoped it was like Windows 10 where my screen has red hues at my preferred time, so I can work at night and my brain will still be able to go to sleep afterward.
