The Ruud Eco Net App Version 6.0.0-320-gfdeaddd resolved all my problems where it wasn't able to change the heating mode (Energy Savings, Heat Pump Only, High Demand, Electric Mode) or the temperature) of my Ruud Prough50-T2-RU350 Hybrid Electric Water Heater using my Samsung Galaxy A32 5G phone (Android 13). This now works reliably. I am still hoping one day that the Ruud Eco Net app will display sensor information of my Hybrid water heater like the tanks current (top & bottom) temperature.

If I could give this app 0 stars I would. We got an Eco net thermostat when we had our new furnace and AC installed. The first one wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi, so after 2 weeks we had to get a replacement. That one stayed connected for 19 days before disconnecting, and that's the longest we've kept it connected. Absolutely horrendous app and device. Unfortunately we're stuck with it because apparently it's the only device compatible with our RUUD system.

Better than nothing, but not by much. It's slow to connect to my thermostat, slow to apply changes. It often won't connect at all, until I do a force close and restart it. Clearing a filter change notification on the wall panel does not clear the same notification on the app. The automatic "away" feature doesn't seem to work at all, maybe because my home is not inside the radius centered around a spot on the map I can't seem to change? I'm mad that my HVAC contractor talked me into Ruud

Horrible app and thermostat. About any Ruud/Rheem with Eco net!..... Update, still a horrible app and thermostat. Regretting my purchase of the complete Ruud system.
