It's a pretty decent app, haven't had much trouble with it except for the message us icon or feature doesn't work. If you click on either of the message us icons or buttons, it immediately crashes and closes the app.

Sallie Mae is a predatory banking system that does not, in any way, care about you or your financial well-being. They say to contact them if you're having financial hardship and are struggling to pay what's due on your loans, but when you contact them, they tell you there's nothing they can do. The app earned them this 1 star, but the company, as a whole, deserves negative stars.

No more such thing as a hardship type of deferment. Sallie Mae is / has become the Loan Shark Company of 2024... my child was hospitalized for suicidal ideation after the pressure of school loans and unemployment... the minimum payment was an impossible amount for him to achieve monthly, and rather than a deferment, they only offered an interest only payment option for a year that was over $400 monthly... if a zero-star option was above, they wouldn't deserve the one above. Prayers for my fam!
