I'm happy with the latest patch Thanks for the latest patch for landscape fix and autorotation fix. I'm glad knowing this app is useful to reduce battery usage, especially on large screen like my tablet. Anyway, I think there's still room for improvement, especially when changing from total darkness to low light. For me, it's still to dim to keep up on the lowest brightness. I use -50 as minimum brightness (good for reading at total darkness), and 100 as maximum when outdoor. When I'm moving to low light, your sensor still use -50 brightness, until I move to someplace more bright around 30 lux (I tested it with sensor app), then your app works to reduce to -27 brightness. I hope there's something in the middle, let's say around 15-30 lux, then you increase my brightness from -50 to -35 or something. I hope you can understand it, I will email you for technical detail if you needed it. You can also add settings how the system control the auto-brightness in more detailed way like what I want and if other people don't like it, they can disable it. If you do that, then this will be the best app I have ever known to control the brightness.

It's great! This app os clearly the best screen dimming app I have ever used!! It seems bug free and works flawlessly!
★★☆☆☆
Fantastic during low light situations, but horrible in daylight I've found this app to be incredible in lower ambient light (think "sitting outside on the deck at night") because of its ability to dim lower than 0%. It's very responsive and always seems to dim to the "right" level automatically. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said during daylight (at least not on my Moto Razr Maxx HD anyway). Whenever I press the display on my phone so I can use it, the screen may take between 3 and 10 seconds to adjust to the ambient light before it adjusts to a brightness which allows me to see anything. Not being able to see who's calling me, or to see the keypad to make a call is very frustrating. Had to uninstall it. On the other hand, this works quite well on my Nexus 7 (2013) which never leaves my house.
★★☆☆☆
The app has potential. The problem is it can not only cause other apps to freeze, but it also can prevent you from giving other apps administrative permissions. For instant, it prevented me from turning on features in Kaspersky because it needs administrative permissions. It did the same thing with Greenify and with GSam Battery Pro. To be useful this app can't work against other apps. And I do know it's this app cause when I uninstall it, apps stop freezing and permissions work again. 1 star until these issues are fixed.
