This software works very well, but you need to configure it correctly with the instances first, or you will not get any results. All these 1-star reviews from what I can make out are from users who did not research and learn how to add the search address.

For everyone saying "it works you just have to do research to add an instance url". Did that. Still doesn't work. Says "error: rate limit exceeded" It would be nice if there were some instructions for how to properly set this up. I've tried several instances and none work at all.

Connects, but won't search. I've managed to get the app to talk to the searx server I have running buly including the port information in the URL, but the app fails to submit a request to the server which is disappointing. App dev needs to work on this more because it's a great idea on the bleeding edge of a booming market.
