A serviceable app with strange inconsistencies. The setup does take an unusual amount of time (and information), and I'm pretty sure there is a mismatch between the create-account password and the actual password requirements (i.e. USE TWO NUMBERS IN THE PW OR YOU'LL HAVE TO RESET IT). Once you're past that it is straightforward though, more or less. I wish there wasn't a card setup fee - makes the digital app kinda pointless when you need to "buy a card" anyway.

For the DC resident this app is fine. I liked how it went cardless, so you can use your phone. Heads up though, when you get a new phone, the old phone must be on the Internet to transfer credentials to your new phone. If you don't do that, you can log in and see your account sure, but if try to use it, it will come up as invalid. Keep your card on you just in case. Hth!!!!

While not fully intuitive (and having to go through the terms and conditions a few times was annoying) I was able to configure my existing metro card and transfer it to my Google wallet in less than 10 minutes from start to finish. As that will be my primary way to access it moving forward, that's all I needed this app to do.

Thus, app sucks. If you have an existing plastic card that's registered you can't use your phone to pay your fares. There is not even an option to add money to the app. Even if you remove the card off of the account

Does not allow me to add value to my card or update my balance. Also does not let me add the metro monthly pass to my wallet. I'm using pixel pro xl

Where is the transfer to the Google wallet button? I guess if you got it for free because you're homeless and don't have money you can't do that.
