Very responsive on a Galaxy Note 20. The level of customization is impressive and allows you to target your specific dietary concerns; nothing is set until you configure it. Unfortunately, picks up gluten-free as gluten and cocoa butter as dairy butter. These are challenging problems to solve, and it is easy to pay attention to where the app is picking up the warnings from (an indicator flashes up when it happens) and double-checking yourself. Thank you for your contribution.

The app works great to catch non-vegan ingredients. Make sure you scan a few times to get the sides if scanning round containers and be aware that "general non-vegan" refers to non-vegan ingredients other than the ones included in the other filters, not all non-vegan ingredients. This filter could benefit from a better name. Other than that no complaints!

Gave this app 2 min of use around my kitchen for gluten and dairy allergies. The app picked up a badge near an ingredient list saying "gluten-free" and flagged the product for gluten. Tried another product which had butter (gluten-free cookies) and it found dairy products with the actual butter but also flagged the term cocoa butter for dairy. Also flagged the same list for gluten after "almond flour" and highlighted the flour portion of that term. App scanned quickly but very poor execution.

Can't add all allergies without paying extra, and you have to read the labels yourself cos their app can't scan everything

If you're trying to stay within the free options you can only choose 3 groups - that would be fine IF the groups worked properly. The group called "general non-vegan" doesn't pick up on dairy or meat... you have to enable those groups individually. You run out of groups very quickly this way and the only way to get more is to buy a yearly subscription for $7.50 or one time purchase of $15. That is an outrageous amount considering the app is seriously flawed.

Useless for Celiac as the only word used is Gluten which isn't generally found on list of ingredients. What needs to be in the word identifier of the scan results is those ingredients that contain Gluten ie wheat, oats etc. Obviously whoever wrote the app doesn't understand allergies. Uninstall.
