Spanish Complete Dictionary

★★★★★ After trying various "free" dictionaries, I paid the money for this: and was delighted! Worth every penny: a really professional tool with loads of real-life examples (which are very important: English speakers will often imagine they understand the word from the cognate English, but meaning and usage in Spanish are often significantly different). Grouses? I can't find the all-important conjugations, which annoyingly seem to be available in the Apple version. "Word of the Day" is often amazingly eclectic. I would like to be able to download the "favorites" list. V. positive: google play store recognizes your devices and (hopefully!) will allow it to be installed on a new one (my mobile is playing up, and will need to be replaced).

★★★★★ I've had this dictionary for years and have been happy to pay for it again when I lost my registration details. I find it very comprehensive and accurate. In particular, I like the fact that it identified American and Peninsular usage, and gives words and phrases that are related to the word you look up. A very effective tool for improving your Spanish.

★★☆☆☆ Underwhelmed, for an app costing the same as an actual dictionary I am disappointed that the word definitions are so terse and do not usually contain examples of usage. Verb lookup is unusable slow. Also word of the day on the notification is different from what actually comes up.

★★☆☆☆ Privacy issue: this app requires access to personal media (photos, etc.) under the guise of storing dictionary results. I see no reason for this -- thanks but NO <<<
