I've tried all the top free tts softwares available on in the play store and none of them come close to the speech quality of this app. Some offer 10 minutes of premium voices per day. That is a useless amount of time when you are listening to journal article. It's not prefect. It struggles with cleanly pulling text from pdfs of journal articles. Solved the problem by using word docs of the article with no figures included.

I'm studying, and I hate reading. This app does it for me without any additional cost like other apps that charge you by the number of words that you use. This app uses a pretty basic voice. It doesn't sound like it's a real person reading the text out to you, but I don't really care. It's the best app that I've found. I've been using this for about a month now, and I haven't come across any bugs.

All these texts to speech apps on here are BS, they either will not read what is on a web page or on a web page picture, or they want to subscription fee for something that isn't even guaranteed to work. IDK what to do I'm legally blind, and I need to see what's on the screen without zooming in with a magnifying glass every single time it's strange my eyes real bad. This app should be just like the screen recording apps where you have a microph in the corner of any app, document, email, whatever

False advertising. There is not one AI voice to this app, unless you count sounding like a robot. All the voices are just the Google tts releases.

Appears good at first, but voice selection is complicated, and you can't see/hear which voice will be used to export audio. Sync via 'Pocket' ... is a bit of a con - after going to the trouble of syncing one device with Pocket and believing that the others will sync as well once you set them up, you are asked to pay. Would be good to make it clear from the outset that it's a premium feature. I would probably pay if that included the Windows app as well and syncing was more robust.

Premium version of App has issues at the beginning of every sentence. It repeats the first word twice before reading the remaining words in the sentence. Issue makes listen to audio at times very annoying especially for technical material.
