★★★★★ Worked perfectly for me to watch Netflix in my hotel room from my phone. No it's not a substitute for the real remote, just an easy way to cast from your phone to a hotel tv.

★★★★★ Worked perfectly from the moment I connected it with the six-digit code to my phone! Don't understand the bad reviews?

★★☆☆☆ You have a remote control in your hand, and instead you can have your cellphone do nothing more than be a remote control. Worthless. Can't cast, nothing. Heck, the TV this was connected to in a Marriott hotel can't even let you stream to the TV through an HDMI cable.

★★☆☆☆ Unless you have access to the Wi-Fi that the TV is connected to, you can't cast to the Chromecast device. I read someone said they could cast, but I'm at a hotel and don't have access to the Wi-Fi so cast does not work. In my case, the app only allows very basic functions such as channel change and volume pwr control. But I tried. Uninstalling
