App worked well, and I was able to add an A-B3 10-trip in addition to my regular metro 10-trip when I was nowhere near a machine and unfamiliar with the local area. The ability to add single trips and / or the airport supplement would make the app better, as would being able to add your payment card when recharging your transport card for the first time instead of being forced to quit what you're doing, then add the payment card, then start again...

It just doesn't work to recharge the transport card. After so many attempts, not a single one worked, and the app always crashed after payment without charging the fares into the card. At least the fruitless charges in the credit card were refunded. Why 2 and not just 1 star? At least there's something that works: checking the amount of available fares in the card.

Madrid literally has the worst designed and unintelligent zone and fare system. Learn something from Barcelona: A 30-day ticket covers all of Barcelona, including airport, costs €20. So simple. And why not have a single system for all of Spain instead of spending for each individual city. Learn something from Denmark. And why not create a system without need to buy a plastic card, when we can just use the credit card we already have in our pockets? Learn something from London.

I recharge my metro card with 10 viajes, but it never recharged at all, my bank was charged with the amount.
