A well-structured demo of the Trail Making test. It should show a different set of patterns each time it is run.

TMT measures cognitive processing time & allows linking two consecutive numbers with the fastest, most direct route, which would be a straight line. When I link 5-6-7-8 with straight lines, the lines cancelled out one another due to overlapping. Touching each number is not what the standardized TMT requires, so the normative data established will not be comparable. Many people who need cognitive tests are seniors. They will likely find black background and fluorescent numbers difficult to read.
