★★★★★ Before I bought tickets I had a query and customer services came back promptly. Booking tickets was quick and easy. It came up with a better fare esp for the train we really wanted to get back from Paddington to Cornwall after medical appointment. Lot cheaper than train line even using their split ticket option. No e-ticket option only paper but picked up tickets 1 hr after booking. App is a bit odd as journey details only give outbound details. Adding railcard into user account is impossible.

★★★★★ Best GB train app. Like that you can select your own seat on reservable services, as well as plenty of split fare options. I'm a professional rail consultant, know the railways of Britain extremely well, but working out all split fares on long journeys was time-consuming before apps like Train Split came along. I also much prefer you to Train line !

★★☆☆☆ App price was double what the online ticket price was for the same journey and time.

★★☆☆☆ Only useful for single travelers or multiple travelers without railcards, as seems to only accept one railcard in any one booking.

★★☆☆☆ Forced to update to open the app -- could have missed the train! I had a recent version already! On Tuesday 5th Nov I got to the station and found I could not open the app without updating, but the signal was poor, I couldn't! Luckily I was able to find my ticket in my email. But this is a stupid thing to enforce on a travel app. Please don't do it again. Note that the service offered by the company is excellent. Excellent website. But this app flaw could be disastrous.
