This is the only app I've found to reliably act as an external HDMI monitor and streaming solution with USB UVC capture cards. It doesn't work with my cam link 4k but is great with a generic USB 2.0 card though that's likely a hardware bandwidth issue. Very robust and well maintained. Try this before an Atoms Connect

Works great for streaming from a gopro hero 6 connected via a hdmi dongle. I am using the gopro external mic adapter and using an external mic. Works great. I suggest matching video formats, resolution and fps, on the camera and the USB Camera Pro app settings. You may get some artifact if you don't.

I started with the free version before upgrading to the paid version. Worked great until the last update. I've been using this with my phone connected to my DSLR. Worked great but tried using it today and all I get is a black screen. I've done all I know how to do to fix it but no luck. If it gets fixed I'll keep the app. Otherwise, I will delete it and look for a different option.

License validation code is a mess. The developers need to run a pro version with and without an internet connection (either Wi-Fi or network) and with and without a camera attached. License validation should not require an usb camera to be attached to the phone. Also, once a license is validated it should bind the license to the device serial number locally so that validation across the network is no longer required.
