Not sure why this has no reviews. I bought it to program a couple Baofeng 888s that I bought for a gift for a fellow hiker. Worked flawlessly. Took a minute to realize I could make and save a preset to then copy over to the other radios. Once I realized that it took literally 3 seconds to program the other radio. 10/10 hate needing a PC to program. And this is useful ANYWHERE since you just need your phone and a cable.

Brilliant App 5. STAR. Works super on Baofeng 888s with a Samsung phone. (Ensure you have the correct cable ie don't use Retrevis on Baofeng) Adjustment of the response time to 850ms worked for a new Radio type UV82. Adjustments uploads and downloads are simple. Value for money is great. And the author is responsive in communicating when I made an error with the cable type. This os how Apps arre supposed to be. Highly recommend.

Just will not recognize my 2021 UV5-R and misreports my UV5-RH as a UV-17 pro but then hangs. Used two different, known working Baofeng USB cables so that's not the issue. Both radios work perfectly with CHIRP. Seems to be a grand waste of money.

Washed money. I have 5 uv-5r and 1 5rm. It sees the radios but refuses to read any of them. Yes, I have the right cable. Baofeng cable. Use it with chirp all the time with no issues.
