★★★★★ Honestly, I never thought Yahoo would be the news app giving me everything I wanted-quality sources, customized topics, headline aggregation, and article summaries, all in a clean layout.

★★★★★ This has been my favorite news app for a very long time, but the update that just got pushed out took away the commenting feature! I've been an active Yahoo News commenter for over twenty years, and was thrilled to see it come back a couple of years ago. To lose my favorite feature again for a forced app update is extremely disappointing. EDIT: Comments are back! I am very happy. I still dislike the topics it makes you choose from, but those appear pretty common across many apps now.

★★☆☆☆ Not going to lie. The update seems like a downgrade. Not even a tutorial page to learn how to use the new app. Removed comments. Are we about to lose yahoo soon?

★★☆☆☆ New layout is trash. Hate the horizontal scrolling, very finicky, either scrolls too fast or too slow, not natural at all. The previous layout was far superior with the simple vertical scrolling and larger images. There was no reason to fix what wasn't broken. Also major breaking news stories don't get featured at all. They get buried with all other headlines. New version is trash.
